Postdoctoral
An exciting opportunity is available for a one year appointment initially for one postdoctoral position for a talented researcher to capitalize
on the combined resources of the plastic and reconstructive surgery research group at the Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre (MIB) and
Manchester Centre for Mesoscience & Nanotechnology at UoM to investigate:
Cell surface interaction with focus on fibroblast interaction with implant surfaces. Subsequently, the aim is to use this information to
design novel implants with improved biomimetic surfaces.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. with relevant experience in subjects related to cellular biology, biomaterial science, and/or bioengineering.
