Nucleic Acids at the Chemistry-Biology Interface
07 - 08 September 2009
We are delighted to announce a 2-day meeting of the RSC, Nucleic Acids Group. This will commence Monday 07th September 2009 and will be held at the Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre, The University of Manchester, Manchester, UK. The full meeting programme will be made available for download shortly.
The meeting programme will be organised by the following 5 themes:
- Oligonucleotide control of gene expression
- antisense, steric block, triplex, novel chemistry, delivery
- RNA interference
- siRNA, microRNA, modifications, delivery
- Small molecule-nucleic acid interaction
- duplex and G-quadruplex binders, RNA binders
- Catalytic and regulatory RNA
- riboswitches, ribozymes, aptamers
- Novel applications
- template dependent synthesis, nanotechnology etc...
