Continuing professional development (CPD)

As one of the foremost interdisciplinary research institutes in Europe, the MIB at The University of Manchester has a wealth of experience and expertise at the interface of the physical sciences and life sciences. Our mission is to enable our community to explore specific areas of interdisciplinary quantitative bioscience at the highest level, largely through the efforts of multidisciplinary research teams. As part of our continuing effort to more effectively meet the needs of our partners in industry, the MIB in partnership with faculties across the university is currently reviewing the areas in which we provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training.

To ensure that we provide the most effective and most relevant resources, the Faculty is currently canvassing our industrial partners to establish which areas would most effectively meet current and future training and career development needs in the biosciences.

Contact our CPD team if the above list reflects any interests your organisation might have in meeting training needs or for any other training or career development needs that you have identified.

If you would like to discuss any of the options further, please do not hesitate to contact us.
