Poster Guidelines

All participants are encouraged to bring a poster to display at one of the Poster Sessions (13 or 15 September between 15:00-16:30). There will be prizes for the best posters.

Size of the poster: Not bigger than 1.5M x 1.2M (portrait).

Abstracts must be submitted in English by successful applicants at the time of registration.
The abstract (which should not exceed 2000 characters in length) should be prepared as a Word document. The deadline for abstracts (and payment of the registration fee) is 30 June, 2008.

In the submitted abstract, please remember to:

  • Underline the presenting author.
  • Give the affiliation of all authors using superscript numbers for different affiliation.
  • Write the title in bold type.
  • Greek letters should be entered as symbols.

Several posters will be selected for short oral presentations.

Posters will be exhibited in spaces near the lecture room. Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated in the submitted abstract. Please do not use small font sizes (a minimum of 16 is required). Your poster should be easily readable from a distance of at least 1.5 m. Tacks and other aids will be available for the hanging of posters.
